We are currently seeking a Financial Services Representative to join our team at our DeForest location. This customer-facing role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing exceptional service, and supporting a variety of financial transactions in a collaborative branch environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Financial Services
- Provide friendly, professional service while assisting customers with the opening and maintenance of deposit accounts, including HSAs, IRAs, and safe deposit box rentals.
- Prepare account opening documentation and identify opportunities to cross-sell appropriate products and services.
- Assist customers with fund transfers, online banking, mobile deposit, and the resolution of account-related issues or concerns.
Financial Processing & Compliance
- Process financial forms and collection items, including garnishments and levies.
- Handle incoming and outgoing funds through Deposit Listing Services and the Depository Trust.
- Complete assigned audit reports to ensure proper coding of customer profiles, CDs, IRAs, and special account designations (e.g., PrimeTime and MVP benefits).
- Perform internal audits as assigned by the Compliance Officer.
Reception & Administrative Support
- Provide backup coverage for reception, including greeting customers and answering overflow calls.
- Route calls to the appropriate department and ensure messages are promptly delivered.
- Process personal and business check orders.
- Order bank office supplies and products as needed.
Additional Support
- Provide Notary services to customers.
- Assist with general office and customer support tasks as required.
Schedule
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday – Friday.
